Composition, critical raw materials and hazardous substances present in the battery.

Recycled content

How to read this. Who can see it follows Annex XIII: point 1 attributes are publicly accessible, points 2 and 4 are available to persons with a legitimate interest (recyclers, repairers, second-life operators), and point 3 — test results proving conformity — is restricted to notified bodies and market-surveillance authorities. Status reflects whether an attribute is mandatory from 18 February 2027 or recommended by the harmonised standard. Roughly a third of the mandatory set originates upstream at the cell producer rather than with the company placing the battery on the market, which is why data collection, not software, is the long pole.

Provenance and limits. This list is PassPer's implementation of the battery profile, reconciled against DIN DKE SPEC 99100:2025 Table A.1 and the underlying Regulation. It is a working reference, not legal advice, and it does not reproduce the text of the standard — the DIN clause is cited so you can look up the authoritative wording. Delegated and implementing acts may still adjust details; where a detail is not final we mark it as such rather than guessing.
